Dice the celery, yellow onion, and red bell pepper.
Zest and juice the lemon.
Clean and prepare the shrimp, lobster, and crab meat as needed.
Cooking the Seafood:
In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
Add the shrimp and lobster to the skillet and cook until the shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. If using raw crab meat, add it here as well and cook until heated through. If using pre-cooked crab meat, add it after the shrimp and lobster are cooked.
Season to taste
Cooking the Pasta:
While the seafood is cooking, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
Combining Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine the cooked and drained elbow macaroni (wait until cooled until at least room temp), cooked seafood, diced onion, red bell pepper, and celery, and ½ cup of mayo.
Add the diced onion, red bell pepper, and celery.
Add ¼ cup of sweet relish, the juice and zest of 1 lemon, and 2 pinches of sugar.
Season with Old Bay, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to taste.
Add 2-3 dashes of hot sauce and 2-3 dashes of Worcestershire sauce. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
Serving:
Garnish with diced green onion before serving. Best served chilled!
