During the week, after a long work day, there’s two things that will really annoy me. Number 1 - having to cook a super complicated dinner that takes hours to make while I’m starving and number 2 (probably even worse than number 1) is ordering out for dinner and the food sucks, lol.
You can always swap out the protein here for whatever might be in the fridge (sweet Italian sausage, ground beef, ground turkey, etc)
First start off prepping with dicing your garlic and onion. (If you don't have fresh garlic, you can use the jarred stuff or garlic paste).
Next, brown the sausage. When browning your sausage (or any ground meat for that matter) it’s important to ensure the protein is making maximum surface area contact with the skillet.
Once the sausage is browned, add in the onions, garlic, tomato paste, truffle oil, Italian herb paste or seasoning, and season to taste.
Next, add the spinach and cover with a lid until the spinach wilts down. Mix to combine and then deglaze with dry white wine or chicken broth.
Next, add in the cream and slowly combine parmesan cheese.
Allow this to simmer a bit and reduce/thicken up.
Season to taste and then add your cooked pasta (that you boiled in salted water of course!).
Allow the pasta to finish cooking in the sauced then plate this up with more parmesan cheese and diced parsley.
