Get ready to satisfy your cravings with the ultimate comfort food: the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sub. Packed with savory chicken, crispy bacon, creamy ranch dressing, and fresh vegetables, this sandwich is a mouthwatering delight that will quickly become a favorite.
First things first, let’s season the chicken! Today we are using boneless skinless breasts. Season each with AP, Lemon Bae, and Ranch Seasoning (feel free to use your favorite all purpose or just salt and pepper too).
Next, we are going to spice things up a little bit with a homemade chipotle ranch dressing. For that we need 1/2 cup mayo, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/4 cup buttermilk, and the juice from chipotle peppers in adobo. Season with ranch seasoning.
Next, we are going to make a quick honey garlic parm butter for the rolls just the elevate the flavor even further. For that we need 1 stick of melted butter, 2 tbsps honey, 1/4 cup grated parmesan, 2 tbsps garlic, and 1/4 cup diced parsley. Season to taste.
Cook chicken breast in a skillet until you get the desired color and then finish in a 400 degree oven for about 12-15 minutes or until chicken registers 165 degrees internal temp.
Cook your bacon in the oven until crispy and set aside. Once the chicken is done, dice it into bite sized pieces.
Toast your sub roll with the butter until lightly toasted and start to assemble the sandwich.
I like to add a few slices of sharp cheddar cheese at the end of the toasting process so the cheese melts.
We are adding some lettuce and tomato - along with that delicious chipotle mayo and BOOM.. the best sandwich ever!
