Ingredients
For the Turkey Wings:

- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional, for heat
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- * Oil for frying vegetable or canola
For the Seasoning Mix:
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Or just use my AP and Lemon Bae seasoning to taste
Optional Dipping Sauce:

Instructions
Prepare the Turkey Wings
- Start by rinsing the turkey wings under cold water and patting them dry with paper towels.
- This will help the skin crisp up nicely during frying.
Marinate
- In a large bowl, pour the buttermilk over the turkey wings, ensuring they are fully submerged.
- Cover and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight. This step is crucial for tender, flavorful wings!
- After the buttermilk brine, go and and rinse/dry the wings and season.
Heat the Oil
- In a deep frying pan or a large pot, heat oil to 350°F (175°C). You can use a thermometer for accuracy.
Fry the Wings
- Carefully add a few wings to the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
- Fry in batches for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
- Make sure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Lemon Pepper Sauce:
- Melt 1 stick of butter and add lemon zest and lemon pepper seasoning.
- Toss and coat the wings before serving if desired.
- Once the wings are fried to perfection, toss them in the sauce or seasoning of your choice and serve.
Serve and Enjoy
- Serve the crispy fried turkey wings hot, with optional dipping sauces like hot sauce, ranch, or blue cheese dressing on the side.
