If there’s one thing that can elevate a gathering, it’s the tantalizing aroma of BBQ wafting through the air. And when it comes to BBQ, there’s no denying the allure of perfectly grilled chicken wings. But what if we told you that you could take your wing game to the next level with the magic of Traeger grilling? Get ready to tantalize your taste buds and impress your guests with our Traeger BBQ Wings recipe.

First things first, let’s talk Traeger. If you’re not already familiar, Traeger grills are a game-changer in the world of outdoor cooking. They combine the convenience of a grill with the rich, smoky flavor of wood-fired cooking, resulting in mouthwatering dishes that will have you coming back for more.

For these wings we kept it very simple, because sometimes simple is best! We cleaned these wings up, dried them thoroughly and then coated in olive oil and All Purpose Seasoning. Us whatever your favorite wing seasoning is (bbq rub would work nicely here too or just a blend of salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder)

Preheat your grill to 350 degrees and make sure the grill grates are cleaned and oiled up (so the skin does not stick). Add your wings to the grill and cook for about 1 hour, flipping at the 30 minute mark.

During the final 15 minutes of cook time, we are going to add the wings to a mixing bowl and coat in WARM BBQ Sauce (using cold sauce will reduce the temp of the wings and impact cook time AND the beautifully crispy skin). Throw them back on the smoker at 375-400 for about 10-15 minutes to allow the sauce to caramelize.

After patiently waiting (or perhaps not so patiently, we don’t judge), it’s time to savor the fruits of your labor. With a crisp exterior and tender, juicy meat, these Traeger BBQ wings are a true delight for the senses. Whether you’re enjoying them as an appetizer at your next backyard BBQ or as a main course for game day, one thing’s for sure: they won’t last long.

Share the Love

Of course, the best part of any culinary creation is sharing it with loved ones. Invite your friends and family to gather ’round the grill, swap stories, and indulge in the irresistible goodness of Traeger BBQ wings. After all, good food is meant to be shared and enjoyed together.

Conclusion: A Flavorful Journey Awaits

In a world filled with culinary adventures, there’s something undeniably special about the simplicity and satisfaction of perfectly grilled BBQ wings. And with the power of Traeger grilling at your fingertips, the journey to flavor-filled bliss has never been more attainable. So fire up the grill, gather your ingredients, and get ready to embark on a culinary journey that’s sure to leave you craving more.

Happy grilling, and may your wings be ever flavorful!
