This is a good time to measure everything, dice your parsley, and garlic, etc.

Next, let’s go ahead and knock out this simple garlic butter for the bread.

For that, we need 1 stick of room temp butter, 1-2 tbsps of garlic, seasoning of your choice, and some diced parsley. Mix to combine and boom.. garlic butter spread!

Buttery Garlic Seasoning


Cut your French bread into your desired size for the sandwich and then cut down the middle to open it up. Spread the butter on both sides and get the bread ready for the oven.

Next, prep your chicken breading station. For this, you will need seasoned flour, Italian bread crumbs, and egg wash. I also highly recommend butterflying your chicken and flattening them out or just buying thinned sliced chicken breast from the store for this recipe.

First, we dip the seasoned chicken into the flour, and then the egg wash, and then finally into the bread crumbs.

Place the breaded chicken on a sheet pan and get your oil up to 350 degrees.

Fry the chicken until it reaches 165 internal temp.

Once the chicken is done frying, hit it with some finishing salt and then place some fresh mozzarella on top of the chicken. Place this in the oven at 400-degree until the mozzarella melts (just like standard chicken parm)

Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup bread crumbs use Italian bread crumbs for extra flavor
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • All-purpose seasoning to taste
  • Italian seasoning to taste
  • 1-2 cups cooking oil for frying

For the Sandwich:

  • 1-2 cups Shredded mozzarella depending on how cheesy you want it
  • 1 jar of marinara sauce or homemade, if you prefer
  • 4 white or wheat hoagie rolls soft and fresh

For the Garlic-Butter Sauce:

  • 1 stick butter
  • ¼ cup diced parsley
  • 1 clove garlic grated (or 2 teaspoon garlic paste)
  • 2 tsps garlic paste
  • All-purpose seasoning to taste
  • Red pepper flakes optional, for a little heat
