Pepperoni Pizza Puffs Recipe by Mr. Make It Happen

Introduction:
Pizza, in all its glorious forms, holds a special place in the hearts of food lovers everywhere. Whether you prefer a traditional Margherita, a meat lover’s masterpiece, or a veggie-packed delight, there’s a pizza for every palate. But what if you could enjoy all the flavors of pizza in a convenient, bite-sized package? Enter — pizza puffs. These delightful little morsels combine all the cheesy, saucy goodness of pizza in a portable, poppable form. In this blog post, we’ll dive into a delicious pizza puff recipe that’s perfect for parties, game nights, or any time you’re craving a taste of Italy.
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F and grease a mini muffin tin with cooking spray.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into small squares, about 2 inches in size.
- Press each square of dough into the wells of the muffin tin, making sure to leave a little overhang.
- Spoon a small amount of pizza sauce into each dough-lined well, followed by a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, chopped pepperoni, and a pinch of Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
- Fold the overhanging edges of the dough over the filling to form a little puff.
- Bake the pizza puffs in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove the pizza puffs from the oven and let them cool slightly before carefully removing them from the muffin tin.
- Serve the pizza puffs warm with Marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.
To take these over the top we are going to add some garlic butter AND hot honey… cuz why the hell not? We’re here for a good time, not a long time! Lol 🙂
Breakout the pizza dough, roll it out until it’s even, and then cut them into equal size squares that will fit over the muffin tin.
Once that is prepped, add your pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings of your choice.

All-Purpose Seasoning
The garlic butter is incredibly simple – 1 stick of melted butter, garlic, parsley, and the seasoning of your choice.
The Hot Honey sauce is also very easy to make and pairs great with multiple dishes. If you’ve never tried Hot Honey on your Pizza… PLEASE do yourself a Flavor Favor.
Customization Ideas:
- Get creative with your toppings! Try diced bell peppers, sliced olives, cooked sausage, or whatever else you love on your pizza.
- For a vegetarian option, omit the pepperoni and load up on veggies like mushrooms, onions, and spinach.
- Experiment with different cheeses like cheddar, provolone, or feta for unique flavor combinations.
Tips for Success:
- Don’t overfill the muffin tin with dough or toppings, as this can cause the pizza puffs to overflow.
- Make sure to seal the edges of the dough well to prevent the filling from leaking out during baking.
- If you don’t have a mini muffin tin, you can use a regular muffin tin and adjust the baking time accordingly.
Conclusion:
Pizza puffs are the ultimate party snack that’s sure to please kids and adults alike. With their crispy crust, gooey cheese, and flavorful toppings, these bite-sized treats are guaranteed to disappear fast. So why not whip up a batch for your next gathering and watch them disappear before your eyes? Your taste buds will thank you!
