The Magic of Garlic Butter:

At the heart of Garlic Butter Steak Bites lies, of course, the garlic butter – a heavenly combination of rich, nutty butter and pungent, aromatic garlic. This magical mixture not only infuses the steak with incredible flavor but also keeps it tender and juicy during cooking. As the steak sizzles in the pan, the garlic butter melts and coats each morsel, creating a luxurious, mouthwatering experience that’s impossible to resist.

Choosing the Perfect Cut of Steak:

When it comes to making Garlic Butter Steak Bites, choosing the right cut of steak is key. Look for a tender, well-marbled cut such as ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon, which will ensure that your steak bites are juicy and flavorful. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces, then season generously with salt, pepper, and any other herbs or spices of your choice. This simple seasoning allows the natural flavors of the steak to shine, while the garlic butter adds an extra layer of richness and depth.

GBSB Meat and vegetables

We are going to begin by cutting the filet down to bite sized pieces and seasoning generously. Set the steak to the side while you prep the remainder of your veggies. Feel free to swap in your favorites or whatever you already have in the fridge, but today, we are going with mushrooms and asparagus.

I like to blanch the asparagus before adding to the sauce to ensure they get nice and tender but maintain their vibrant color. This technique is simple, just toss them into some boiling salted water for 2-3 minutes and then add to some ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain and set aside.

Once the veggies are prepped, it’s time to sear your steak. I like avocado oil for the high smoke point.

Once the steak is seared to perfection, remove it from the skillet and set aside. Next, add some butter, onions, mushrooms, and a little parsley. We are also going to add… drum roll please… GARLIC, and lots of it.

For the flavor enhancers, we are going with some chicken bouillon powder, mostly for the MSG and a little garlic butter and herb seasoning.

Add your beef broth and then add back in the steak bites. Simmer until the steak is fully cooked to your preference. Plate over rice and enjoy!
